Comments :  AND FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN TO THE HUMAN SOCIETY IN THE PAST FEW WEEKS HERE IS MY STORY . Yuma is a great community and I commend HSOY for all they do for homeless pets. I am a local Yuman with a family who has lost our beloved Great Dane, Cinna. We are relocating to California and Cinna, our 3 year old Brindle Great Dane was being watched by a family member. I was not told Cinna got out until I returned home today (April, 29th). I immediatly went down to HSOY and was told that she had already been adopted out. I'm sure she was adopted into a wonderful home but I would like her back home where she belogs. My kids are devastated and we miss her dearly. Please contact me if you have my Cinna. If you want pictures, I can provide them to you. PLEASE contact me, we want Cinna home. Thank You Yuma, Christi Maxedon 928-581-3303 end_of_the_skype_highlighting dreamclm@yahoo.com http://www.yumasun.com/share/forums/?plckForumPage=ForumDiscussion&plckDiscussionId=Cat%3af9e14eae-0c47-41f1-9e4b-c56bfa18aea1Forum%3aac6a3d48-c969-44af-80de-ebc7f2633b3fDiscussion%3a2025d50b-e452-4b63-bce8-fa99d4a28404&plckCurrentPage=0 •Location: yuma az •it's NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interests PostingID: 1716738117 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Copyright

HSOY adopted her out while i was out of town and I was told that the adopters were given this information but they said they didnt want to give my dog back. We have had her since she was 6 weeks old and Ironwood was our vet and has the records. I just want her back my 4 and 5 year old miss her and talk about her all the time. Please give us our dog back!

Comments :  I've been bringing my dogs Lola and Charlie here for about 2 years. They've been able to get me in quick in emergencies when needed. The staff is always caring towards them and towards me. I will be moving to the Foothills, but will continue to come here for their care. Thank you Ironwood!

Comments :  Spike had his anniversary of one year with lymphoma in April and his quality of life is excellent. He did come out of remission in December but quickly went back in with treatment. He can go on two mile walks (and he's a chihuahua), is getting friendly with his canine walking buddies and enjoying his time here on earth (and we are enjoying him as well

Comments :  Thank you to Dr. Stack and Dr. Perry for the excellent care they are giving Pete a dog I am fostering for the HSOY. Pete is being treated for Pemphigus Foliaceus and their knowledge has helped this little dog. Hopefully a loving family will want him soon now that he's looking so much better Loma and Red Friends

Comments :  Spike just finished his third chemo and is in remission since after the first one. We are thrilled with his response and are so glad we took him for chemo for his lymphoma. My husband and I are so glad for the referral (to San Diego) and would encourage you to encourage others whose pets have cancer to seek treatment; it's not cheap but it's not as expensive as we thought it would be and even though it may not be forever it has restored a very sick dog to feeling good and looking good and allowed us to enjoy him for whatever time he has and we're thinking it may be a much longer time than we thought we'd have when he was first diagnosed.
